Vijay's forthcoming film Velayutham was launched on Thursday, which is
being directed by M. Raja under the banner of Aascar Films Ravichandran. It was one of the most grand launch functions in recent times.
"Every actor wants an Oscar in their lifetime. Similarly, in the Tamil Industry, every actor wants to act in the movie produced by Aascar Ravichandran," praised Vijay.
Genelia and Hansika Motwani, who had flown in from Mumbai, sizzled on stage. Vijay said "Genelia, with whom I am teaming up for the second time, is a wonderful actress.She is making waves in Tollywood and Bollywood. Hansika reminds of actress Kushboo in her initial days."
