Aadukalam unites director Vetrimaaran and Dhanush after the success of ‘Polladhavan’. In the beginning the movie was titled ‘Seval’ but the title was already registered by director Hari. Dhanush and Trisha Krishnan will play the lead. G.V Prakash Kumar will tune the music of this movie. It is said that ‘Aadukalam’ is based on true incident that took place in Madurai few years earlier. Si the movie will be completely shot in and around Madurai. Director Vetrimaram who showed us the nooks and corners of Chennai city in Polladhavan will do the same with Madurai streets with this movie. According to Dhanush, this is his dream role that he never expected to do it so early of his film career. Trisha Krishnan who plays Anglo Indian girls will not have much make up in this movie. The movie seems to something like an ordinary guy turning gangster. However the plot is still a mystery.
