Sabapathy (sathyaraj) who was brought up by dictational father was deter,mined not to repeat the same with his son Sakthi(Sibi) and has been more than a friend to him.Meenakshi(banupriya) who loved sabapathy but was forced to give him up due to his father stubbornness, still holds a soft corner for him.both father and son forced to go up against local MLA Lingam (Kota srinivasa rao) when Sakthi decides to oppose lingam’s son (Ramana) in the college elections. The fact that shakthi is in love with Shalini(Gazala)lingam’s daughter complicates matter.

The movie is all about Surya (Arun Kumar), a MBA graduate, who decides to fight for the cause of the unemployed graduates. Finally it is left to Surya to protest from inside the prison which forces the Chief Minister (Rajesh) to visit him personally and hold talks with him. Hearing his arguments, he gives in to demand and orders the arrest of the corrupt Minister
