Imagine this world is full of life threatening adulterated medicine that is actually meant to save ones life. John Chinnappa (Suman) is such a man who manufactures adulterated medicines worldwide. He is been bought to the court assessment to prove whether he is guilty or not. Ram Prasad (Devan) who is on his way to the court to testify against John Chinnappa is been attacked by unknown forces but somehow he manages to escape. However the Police find out that Ram has a daughter named Pooja (Pia bajpai) studying in a college at Ooty. Shiva (Ajith) a special agent is sent in undercover to get hold of Ram Prasad to the same college where Pooja studies, in disguise as a student himself. There starts a rollercoaster ride full of enjoyment, romance and difficulties too with Pooja and her close friend Narein (Navdeep). He falls in love with the young college professor Mallika (Nayanthara) who initially declines Shiva’s proposal but later develops a soft corner in her heart for him. Will Ram Prasad gets to meet his daughter who is now been watched by the Alias Shiva? How does he pursue his love for Mallika and win her heart meanwhile putting an end to the vindictiveness of heartless John Chinnappa forms the crux of the story.
