Naan Than Bala

Bala is a poor Brahmin staying with his aged father and mother. He is the Perumal temple priest, living a pious straight forward life at kumbkonam.
Poochi is a paid killer leading a rough life at kanchipuram. He works for an underground Don by name Kaatooraan.

When Poochi comes to Kumbakonam temple in search of a victim (his target) , he meets Bala and makes an aquintance. He helps Bala to bring his aged father from a grave situation. Due to twists and turns of fate, Bala’s parents commit suicide making him an orphan. As a sign of gratitude Bala moves to Kanchipuram to surrender his house document to Poochi to compensate the Money which he had paid to release his Father, but he refuses and ask Bala to stay with him.

Bala affirms and while staying he meets a Boli seller by name Vaishali and love blossoms in her heart. Poochi helps for their marriage. When things go pleasantly for all, Bala comes to know the background of Poochi through the newly appointed police officer. He is shocked for his life to know that his friend is a hard core criminal, wanted by law. Police plan an encounter for Poochi. Bala intervenes and promises that he will make Poochi to surrender and become an approver. Whether this happened or not is the dusty emotional climax. This film questions the life of paid killers and deals with their guilt and transformation.

Nayyandi is directed by Sargunam who had earlier given some wonderful films like Kalavani and Vaagai sooda vaa which fetched a national award too. The director is all set with his next film Naiyandi which has Danush and nazriya nazim in the lead roles. The film is a romantic film weaved with comedy. Danush is named as chinna vandu who works in a brass metal shop while Nazriya who is titled as Vanaroja is a medical student. How situations and circumstances bring them together and both of them fall in love has been narrated through the regular sargunam style i.e comical style. The film has music by Ghibran and the audio which was released recently has been proven a hit that too the Teddy bear song sung by Danush is ruling the roost. With the perfect package of all such vital ingredients required for a successful commercial film Naiyandi is all set for release on 10th October 2013.
