Most awaited and highly expected Aegan proves to be an ultimate Diwali Entertainer. There is nothing negative to say about this movie as it has zero violence and profanity. From the beginning to till the end the movie oozes out nothing but smashing stunts, rib tickling comedy and foot tapping shaky shake music.
First of all let’s talk about the costumes. Let it be Ajith or Nayanthara, Navdeep or Pia all the stars flaunt their classy, vibrant costumes that initiates certain mood in viewers mind. Ajith look fabulous in all costumes. Nayanthara suits the role as a professor and she looks sensual. Thanks to Anu Vardan she has set a line of classy, revealing but not so vulgar costumes to the lead stars.
Performance wise Ajith rocks in all the stunt scenes revealing a daring, angry CID officer and he is oh so Versatile actor as he even fits in looking smart as student. Nayan has nothing much to do except to be the hero’s arm candy in songs but she also fits in to the lecturer role like a glove. This is the second time she has taken up the role after Vallavan. Jayaram, Nasser, Suhasini and Suman are though casted on screen for a short time their performance is at the best. Jayaram should have been offered more specific role. Pia and Navdeep has done their part well. Many thanks to choreographers for making Ajith sway best than ever. Cinematographer Arjun Jana has once again proved to be the best by presenting us a colorful view of the whole movie especially for “Oh baby baby song”.
