Actress Shriya Saran who is happy with the response she has got for Rowthiram has worked with several prominent directors down south and acted in meaty roles in ‘meaningful cinema’ up north..The actress when asked about what she sees when she signs a film, she was quoted saying” sign a film only if I’m convinced about my character, however small it is. I just want to be part of a good cinema. If everyone starts thinking about how their character would turn out on screen, no one can make a good cinema. Team effort counts and that’s what should reflect on screen.”
