Ajith kumar plays the lead in ‘Asal’ the power of silence. For the first time Sameera Reddy star opposite to Ajith kumar. Director Saran directs the lead star for the third time. Ajith kumar-Sameera Reddy pair and Bhavna share the screen space.. Music is by Bharathwaj whilst the camera is handled by Prashanth Misale.
